Thesis Title: Crafting Sustainability in an Online Environment

My PhD research focuses on environmental sustainability from an anthropological perspective - specifically the ways sustainability is explored online.  I'm interested in textual constructions of self and notions of sustainability in weblogs, and the ways this online format negotiates culturally constructed tensions between technology and nature.  My research approaches this topic through blogs which focus on eco-friendly craft and crafting.
